Concepts

SDSTrack is a mobile handset based asset tracking system. It provides a remote extension to existing backoffice vehicle tracking systems. This allows fleet or sales managers on the road to instantly locate their teams or assets without access to a PC.

Any asset whether it is a truck, car, taxi, shipping container or person with a GPS transmitter can easily be tracked. Highly configurable, SDSTrack allows customistaion in defining the maps used, update times, storage paths and many more. SDTrack comes with it's own small web based backoffice system for those without an existing tracking application. SDS also provides enhancements and reports for clients who want customisation of SDSTrack.

SDSTrack runs on any Java compliant mobile/PDA handset. Successful testing has been completed on Nokia N95, Sony Erricson M600, Windows Mobile 6.0 HTC TyTN and Samsung phones.

SDSTrack is due for release in the summer of 2008.

Features

Primary uses of SDSTrack are to:
